PANDORA'S BOX
Ever wondered what’s in the jar? The one on the top shelf? Why is it there? Why were you told not to look it in?
Could it really be so bad?
With a plethora of costume changes, a pantheon of Gods and a prohibited peek into a pithos, The Last Baguette retell
the preposterous and problematic story of Pandora. A gallop through Greek mythology featuring goofy gods,
hilarious heroines & daft deities. Join the Baguettes as they lift the lid on this classic myth with physical comedy,
visual storytelling, live music, un-Apollo-getically bad puns and lo-fi special effects.
A show for anyone aged 6 to 126 who’s ever asked why.

CAST
Lucy Harrington
During the rehearsal process, Lucy has been gaining lots of new life skills. The one she has most enjoyed gaining is learning to train dogs. Her favourite part of the show is when she gets to fight with Ares, or when Poseidon gives Pandora a swimming lesson. |
Philippa Hambly
Pip took an unusual approach to the rehearsal process, deciding that an important part of her creative process was to sprain her ankle. She has enjoyed everyone adapting to this added element of the show. Her favourite part of the show is when Poseidon tells Zeus he's a schooobly schoopy poop. |
Sidney Robb
Sidney has been asked to do lots of new things for this show, and the one she has enjoyed most is learning how to fire a bow and arrow (without hurting herself or anyone else). Her favourite part of the process has been having everyone on the team in the room together. |
Tristan Green
Tristan has enjoyed the physicality of this performance. The best part of the rehearsal process for him was incorporating the trampoline into the show (and the totally necessary additional bouncing - for safety purposes of course). His favourite parts of the show are all the fights. |

The Last Baguette
The Last Baguette theatre company makes entertaining, accessible and eccentric work for family audiences, and is resident company at Pound Arts, Corsham. The company was formed from a shared love of theatre, bakery and humour in Paris by graduates of the Philippe Gaulier and Jacques Lecoq schools. We are proud to work with our Paris-based sister association Malafesta to bring European artists to the UK and have toured the UK and France with 7 shows. We bring high quality international work to rural audiences, & tour to libraries, rural touring venues, festivals, arts centres & theatres across throughout the UK, and have performed in France, Switzerland and Canada. We make devised physical theatre, & believe in the power of fast paced physical comedy & silliness to talk about important issues of our times.
